Aldersgate Publishing is open to query submissions from authors writing thoughtfully at the intersection of Christian faith, politics, and public life. If you have a manuscript or proposal in that vein, we'd like to hear from you.
We're drawn to work that takes faith seriously as a force that shapes public life, not just private belief. Broadly, we consider proposals in these areas:
Works on holiness, discipleship, church life, and theology written for a thoughtful general readership.
Honest, well-argued nonfiction on how faith and political conviction meet, in both directions.
Books that engage the pressing questions of the day with clarity, charity, and theological grounding.
Narrative and analytical history, especially where faith and public life have shaped the American story.
Practical, substantive works on sanctification and spiritual formation, free of easy answers.
Life stories that illuminate faith under real pressure, particularly in public or political settings.
A strong first query is short and specific. Please include the following in a single email:
Aldersgate also offers paid publishing services for authors who prefer to self-publish. That is a separate path, described on our Services page, and submitting your query here never obligates you to it. If we decline your submission, we will not pitch you our services. The two doors stay separate, and you choose which one to walk through.
Email your synopsis, outline, and bio directly, no submission portal, no agent required.
We aim to respond to all queries within 6–8 weeks. If we're interested, we'll reach out to request the full manuscript.
